Our story
MedCline was founded in 2011 by Dr. Carl Melcher, a respected physician and former professor of medicine at the University of San Diego, after being diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus, a potential precursor to esophageal cancer.
Convinced that positional therapy, applied correctly, could be a more natural and effective treatment option for reducing symptoms and relieving pain, he created his own patented solution: the MedCline Reflux Relief System.
Since then, the MedCline Shoulder Relief System, very similar in design, has been developed to meet the needs of people suffering from chronic shoulder pain at night.
