    Our Story

    MedCline was founded in 2011 by Dr. Carl Melcher, a respected physician and former professor of medicine at the University of San Diego, after being diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus, a potential precursor to esophageal cancer.

    Convinced that positional therapy, applied correctly, could be a more natural and effective treatment option for reducing disease symptoms and relieving pain, he created his own patented solution: the MedCline Reflux Relief System.

    Since then, the MedCline Shoulder Relief System, very similar in design, has been developed to meet the needs of people suffering from chronic shoulder pain at night.

    We are convinced that restful, quality sleep is the basis of health and well-being, despite illness.

        Shoulder pain subsided

        I suffer with shoulder pain and hand numbness at night. Sleeping on the shoulder relief system for a few weeks and I can definitely see the difference. Took me 3 nights to get used to it. From night 4 I find it very comfortable and the pain is much more manageable. Also hand numbness subsided.

        I am still waiting for a diagnosis for my shoulder problem, but this pillows really changed my nights.
